Royal Wedding Tea

I recently purchased 1lb of Royal Wedding Tea, it’s my absolute favorite tea or at least it was, to my surprise they have added lavender to this blend!
Some may love it but what made Royal Wedding so unique was the fact it did not contain lavender, it is now just your average “Dutchess Grey” that about every tea company carries!
So disappointing!
I removed as much lavender as I could to make it taste more like the tea I loved, it took forever and I definitely have less than 1lb now but at least it is not a total waste!
When I reported this to Capital Teas they told me the the blend was a new batch with same ingredients, no lavender, and every batch has nuances based on the cultivation of ingredients! Ummm......no....... I’m not making this up, it quite obviously contained lavender! After asking if the batch was even checked they finally actually looked at the product and guess what? Lavender!
Capital Teas offered their apologies and changed ingredient list! No discounts or even free samples were offered for my troubles which to me shows how little they care!

On a mission to find a company with a similar blend or that customizes and hoping they have the customer service the Capital Teas used to have!!

I love the flavor. It takes me back to beautiful memories of enjoying tea at wedding events and Thursday tea nights with friends, or just having tea In a beautiful garden. I buy this tea in bulk and restock as soon as supply is low.

This tea tastes fantastic. Would have given five stars if not for the large number of bare twigs included in the pouch. At this price I expect the occasional tiny twig but not ones so large that they wont fit in my tea bags.

I sampled this one day in a shop and fell in love. I'm an Earl Grey fan and this is absolutely my favorite tea. I've tried other 'royal wedding' blends and I've yet to find any tea that even comes close. Capital Tea's Royal Wedding Tea is a staple in my home.

I have never been treated so rudely and poorly by a company and that is saying a lot since I am 58 years old. They need new employees to handle problems with orders. When I bought tea they never notified me it was not available or offer a refund. That was almost a month ago. Ordered Oct 23 and Nov 19 still no tea!

Tried to order Chesapeake Sunrise but it was out of stock. That is my favorite. Ordered this instead, but I don't like it near as much as Chesapeake.

This tea seems to be the kind you would sip in the afternoon. Nice and refreshing.

I drink this tea first thing in the morning and it helps me settle into my day. It also helps me unwind at the end of the day. I love it !

A friend brought me a sample of the Royal Wedding Tea,and I fell in love! It's a mild floral flavor with black and white tea and bergamot,which is one of my favorites. I have been drinking it every day!
